The setup path from the panel to your client

Subscription setup steps

Create an account and choose a plan first, then get the subscription link from the user panel. Import the link into the appropriate client on your device, choose a route, connect, and verify the result. Following this order helps avoid common confusion, such as an order being complete while the client shows no routes, or a configuration being imported without an active connection.

Prepare

Confirm the setup path before you start

The complete process includes an account, an order, a subscription link, a client, and a route connection. The account provides access to the user panel; the plan determines the available data; the subscription link delivers the routes available to the current account; and the client reads that information to establish a connection. If any step is incomplete, the next step may not show the expected result, so follow the sequence from the top of this page.

Prepare a Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS device for use, and make sure it can open the VPNPG user panel normally. VPNPG also supports Linux, but desktop environments and network management differ considerably between Linux distributions, so this page does not cover specific interfaces. For protocol trade-offs, route topology, resource usage, or mobile battery behavior, read Route and Protocol Technical Reference.

If you already created an account and the order is still valid, go directly to “Get the subscription.” If an old configuration already exists in the client, you do not need to delete it first. Confirm its source and purpose, then create a clearly named VPNPG subscription; switching and troubleshooting will be easier later.

Account

Create an account and open the user panel

Open the VPNPG account creation page, set a username and password, and submit the account details. No email address is required, so your username and password are the key credentials for accessing the panel later. Choose a username you can recognize over time and store your password securely. Whether the browser saves credentials depends on your device; do not keep a login session on an untrusted device.

After submission, the page will open the user panel or ask you to sign in again. When you can see entries such as Account Overview, Plans, and Clients, the account step is complete. An account alone does not provide usable routes; the next step is to open the Plans page and place an order. If the page says the username is already in use, choose another username and submit again instead of repeatedly refreshing the entire page.

Billing

Choose a plan for your data needs

On the Plans page in the user panel, first distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages. Monthly subscriptions offer ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages offer ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB and remain available until used, with no expiration. If you use the service regularly and want your allowance restored each month, consider a monthly subscription. For less predictable usage, choose a data package based on your total needs.

After selecting a plan, the panel will show the order details and available payment methods. VPNPG supports Alipay, WeChat, and USDT. Confirm the plan type, data allowance, and amount before completing payment. Return to the order or account overview afterward and wait for the panel to show that the plan is active before continuing. Do not judge the order status only by whether the payment page closes; rely on the order result and subscription status shown in the user panel.

When upgrading a monthly subscription midway through its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. If your data needs change, request the adjustment from the Plans page instead of creating duplicate accounts to split orders. All plans support unlimited simultaneous devices, but devices using the same account share the data allowance, so choose capacity based on overall usage.

Subscription

Get the subscription link from the user panel

Once the plan is active, open Account Overview in the user panel and look for an option such as Copy subscription, Subscription URL, or Import into client. Use the copy button provided by the panel; it is usually more reliable than selecting the full text manually and helps prevent missing the end of the link. Do not paste the link into chats, documents, or public pages, because it provides access to the route details available to your account.

This page does not display any real subscription address. The example below is only a dummy value showing what an address may look like; it cannot connect to VPNPG and is not associated with any account:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

After getting the link, do not open it in a browser. Switch to the subscription import section of the client for your platform instead. Opening it directly in a browser may show text, trigger a download prompt, or display content that cannot be recognized; none of these outcomes means the subscription is unavailable. The subscription URL should be handled by a client that supports the relevant import method.

If the subscription option is not yet visible in Account Overview, return to the order section and confirm that the order is active, then verify that you are signed in to the account used to place the order. If the status is still unclear, submit the order details and what you see on the page through the panel ticket system. Do not include the full subscription link in the ticket title or a public screenshot.

Client

Import the subscription on the right platform

Open the client section from the user panel and choose the entry for your current device. The marketing page does not provide static installers; use the client entry shown after signing in to the user panel. After installing and opening the client, find a menu such as Subscription management, Add subscription, or Import from link. Paste the address copied in the previous step and give the subscription an easy-to-recognize name.

A successful import will usually show a list of regions or routes. This only means that the client has read the configuration; it has not connected yet. Confirm that the list displays normally before continuing to connection verification. If the client says the address format is unsupported, return to the panel and check whether you chose the wrong platform entry or copied other text from the page.

Windows

Import on Windows

Open the Windows client entry in the user panel and follow the panel instructions to obtain the Windows client. Start it, open Subscription Management or Configuration Management, choose Add from link, paste the subscription address, and enter a recognizable name. Save it, run an update, and wait for the route list to finish loading.

If the client already contains other configurations, confirm that the VPNPG subscription is selected rather than merely added. Some interfaces separate Save and Update; after saving the address, you may still need to trigger an update before routes appear on the main screen. Avoid running multiple system proxy tools at once so you can identify which program controls the connection.

macOS

Import on macOS

Open the macOS client entry from the panel, install the client, and launch it for the first time. The system may ask you to confirm the app source or grant permissions related to network configuration. Read the system prompts and follow the current client’s setup flow. In the client, find the subscription or configuration menu, choose Add via URL, and paste the subscription link copied from Account Overview.

After saving, check whether a route list appears in the menu bar or the client’s main window. If the list is empty, manually run a subscription update instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client. When multiple network tools run at the same time on macOS, several system status icons may remain visible. Before testing, keep only the connection you intend to check active so an old configuration does not affect the result.

Android

Import on Android

Sign in to the user panel in a browser on your Android device, open the client section, and choose the Android entry. Obtain the client using the method provided by the panel, open the app, and choose Import from clipboard or URL in Subscription Management. Paste the subscription link, enter a name, save it, then pull to refresh or tap the update option to load the routes.

When establishing the first connection, Android will show a system VPN permission request. This is required to let the client create a network connection. Approve it, then return to the client and choose a route. If a power-saving policy is enabled, the device may restrict the client in the background. If the connection drops when the screen locks, check the app battery and background settings before repeatedly changing the subscription address.

iOS

Import on iOS

For iOS, follow the entry provided in the user panel. Open the relevant client, go to its subscription, configuration, or Add Service page, choose Import from link, and paste the subscription address. After saving the configuration, the client will request permission to add a VPN configuration. Read the system authorization notice and confirm it, then return to the client to view the route list.

Allowing the configuration to be added only gives the client permission to create a connection; it does not mean a route has connected automatically. Choose a route in the client and turn on the connection switch. If no list appears after importing, use the client’s subscription update feature first. If the subscription has updated but the system status has not changed, check that you explicitly started the connection inside the client.

Verify

Choose a route and verify the connection

Once the route list appears, choose a region based on the service and location you need to access, then start the connection. VPNPG covers 120+ countries / 250+ routes, so you do not need to test every route when the list is long. Start with an option that fits the relevant geographic location and target service. Keep the client in the foreground while connecting until its status clearly shows Connected, then switch to the browser or target app.

To verify the connection, reopen a webpage or reload the target service instead of watching only the client button color. If the page loads normally, continue checking the apps you commonly use. An app that was already open may retain an old connection state or cached data, so fully quitting and reopening it gives a clearer result. After testing, return to the client and confirm that it is still connected. Note the region in use so you have a clear reference when comparing other routes.

If the connection fails, disconnect the current route, wait for the client status to recover, and try another route. If only one website or app fails while other pages load, treat it as a compatibility issue with that service rather than assuming the entire subscription is invalid. Route selection is affected by the device network, target service, current region, and time of day. A labeled region does not guarantee the same availability for every streaming service or online tool.

For a deeper comparison of direct, relay, and dedicated-route topologies, or the design trade-offs of Shadowsocks, VMess, Trojan, VLESS, Hysteria2, and TUIC, read Routes and Protocols. This page keeps only the main setup path and does not expand on technical parameters during installation.

Maintain

Keep the update option and troubleshooting order

After the first connection, keep the subscription entry in the client instead of copying each route into a permanent configuration. The subscription entry lets the client reread the currently available routes. When the list needs refreshing, update the subscription first, then choose a route from the new list. If you delete the subscription entry, you will need to return to the user panel and copy the link again.

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until used and do not expire. Check the user panel for remaining data and plan status rather than relying on each client’s local statistics, which may cover only the current device or installation period. When multiple devices use the same account, each can import the subscription for that account, but all usage still counts toward the account’s plan.

A fixed troubleshooting order is usually faster: first confirm that the device can access the user panel, then check the account and plan status, run a subscription update, and finally switch routes and recheck the target service. If access returns after changing networks, the issue may come from the original network environment. If no device can update the same subscription, return to Account Overview and confirm its status.

When submitting a ticket, include the device platform, the message shown in the client, whether the problem occurred during import or connection, and the steps you have already tried. Hide the full subscription address and account credentials in screenshots. VPNPG offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund; see the Refund Policy for the request process and applicable rules. Use the panel records for billing and order issues.

Complete

Post-setup verification results

The initial setup is complete once you have confirmed that the account opens the panel, the plan is active, the client can update the route list, and a route can connect successfully. After that, the main tasks are choosing routes for each situation, updating the subscription, and checking plan usage.
